If you have not been to see us before or for a while, it is best to book for this 45 minute appointment as we will have plenty of time to assess your condition , explain what is the problem , treat, and give you things to do at home to help yourself get better.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS FOR REPEAT APPOINTMENTS. IF YOU WANT AN HOURS TREATMENT YOU WILL HAVE TO BOOK TWO SEPERATE HALF HOUR APPOINTMENTS, otherwise you will be charged for a double appointment slot £100 instead of £65

Online follow up consultation

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE CLINIC This is for patients who are unable to attend for an appointment in clinic need some online advice, we will send you a link to open at the time allocated. We can give you self treatment advice and exercises and a treatment plan e mailed to you afterwards. This is especially useful if you are too poorly to attend , have covid , or live too far away from the clinic or are away from home and need advice regarding your treatment. If you have seen us before in clinic and its a simple problem this half hour session will be fine , but if its the 1st time or complicated, give us a ring to discuss 1st and we can book you for an hours slot.

acupuncture/physio treatment

You can book this 30 minutes appointment for repeat sessions, if you have already been assessed, or are a regular customer. For acupuncture, including physiotherapy. We can treat many different conditions, e.g , back and neck pain, joint and muscle pains, arthritis, sports injuries, post surgery treatments, headaches. We will use different modalities during treatment including, massage, joint and muscle mobilisation, electro therapy, acupuncture, strapping etc.
You can also book this slot for acupuncture on its own too. Only Jane and Leel carry out the acupuncture treatments.

Massage half hour

Sports massage before or after sporting events, or if you are feeling your muscles are stiff and sore from over training. Or also good if you are feeling stresses and just need a relaxing massage and a bit of TIC ! Very gentle massage can also be carried out for very sensitive patient.
Sore backs,moderately stiff shoulders, and necks, benefit from a massage , but if you are in pain ,or very stiff and not sure if you need a physio appointment or a massage appointment its best to book in to see the physio first to thoroughly assess your problem and work out an effective treatment protocol , which may include massage and other therapies combined.

Physiotherapy/Pilates one to one rehab session full hour session

If you are recovering from a spinal problem or have poor core stability leading to pain and dysfunction, or are finding it hard to transition from physiotherapy to Pilates classes book either an hour or half hour appointment with Jess our Physiotherapist who specialises in Pilates. A fully supervised ONE TO ONE SESSION will teach and perfect your Pilates moves, fully tailored to your physiotherapy needs and totally private. This ensures you feel safe and confident to move on with your exercise programme with out the risk of re injury and pain.
We provide you with a emailed or printed tailored exercise programme to take home.

Shock wave therapy

Extracorporal Shockwave therapy is a relatively new and highly effective, well researched treatment, mainly used for chronic, localised areas that have not settled or responded well to conventional treatments e.g. plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, tennis elbow, shoulder problems. etc. The treatment works by applying energetic (not electrical) shockwaves to the painful area. The shockwaves helps to break down injured tissue and calcifications as well as initiating increased blood circulation to the area which in turn accelerates the body’s own healing processes. It promotes the formation of collagen which makes the tissues stronger. The effect of the treatment continues for up to three months, following treatment the tissues are stronger and more resilient.
.This is carried out in a normal physiotherapy session as an additional complimentary treatment, as we feel to get the most out of this treatment it is better combined with other physiotherapy modalities, advice and exercise.

Biomechanical assessment/gait scanning

This service is for assessing the foot, and lower limb biomechanically related to foot function. We can assess whether your foot function and structure is having an impact on any other musculo skeletal problems e.g., back pain, shin, leg , knee or hip pains which keep reoccurring. It includes a detailed foot assessment followed by a walking foot scan, discussion on the use of orthotics to correct any faults, advice on foot wear and useful exercises to help.
