You can book this 30 minutes appointment for repeat sessions, if you have already been assessed, or are a regular customer. For acupuncture, including physiotherapy. We can treat many different conditions, e.g , back and neck pain, joint and muscle pains, arthritis, sports injuries, post surgery treatments, headaches. We will use different modalities during treatment including, massage, joint and muscle mobilisation, electro therapy, acupuncture, strapping etc.
You can also book this slot for acupuncture on its own too. Only Jane and Leel carry out the acupuncture treatments.

If you have not been to see us before or for a while, it is best to book for an hours appointment as we will have plenty of time to assess your condition , explain what is the problem , treat, and give you things to do at home to help yourself get better.
Please don't book for an hour if it is a repeat appointment. Book the half hour slot, otherwise you will be charged for a double appointment slot £100 instead of £65

Physio treatment

Extracorporal Shockwave therapy is a relatively new and highly effective, well researched treatment, mainly used for chronic, localised areas that have not settled or responded well to conventional treatments e.g. plantar faciitis, Achilles tendinitis, tennis elbow, shoulder problems. etc. The treatment works by applying energetic (not electrical) shockwaves to the painful area. The shockwaves helps to break down injured tissue and calcifications as well as initiating increased blood circulation to the area which in turn accelerates the body’s own healing processes. It promotes the formation of collagen which makes the tissues stronger. The effect of the treatment continues for up to three months, following treatment the tissues are stronger and more resilient.
.This is carried out in a normal physiotherapy session at an additional cost of £35.00

Shock wave therapy

This online service has been created due to the social distancing policy necessary to stop the spread of corona virus. This method of treatment can be very effective especially where rehabilitation is needed. With over 30 years experience Jane can easily assess your condition and provide a detailed treatment and exercise regime for you to carry out in the safety of your own home.  
Make sure I have your e mail address and telephone number, then i will send you a link from rehab my patient, you press on the link at the allocated time and hey presto!, the consultation begins. You will need to use google chrome on your computer or tablet. Its useful to have whats app too as i can then send you any necessary videos for self treatment or strapping to do at home.   Please take the call in a private place with good internet connection .Wear appropriate clothing as I will have to see you moving about to carry out my examination.
I will take down your history and relevant details   then look at you moving and maybe ask you to do some tests. I can then work out what the problem is and what course of action to take. I can tailor an exercise programme for you which includes advice and self treatment techniques, or advise on safe treatment techniques that a member of the family can do for you. I will then e mail you the relevant exercise and advice. If you need to purchase, strapping, orthotics, creams, theraband, cbd oil, spiky balls etc to help with your treatment i can arrange for you to pick them up with out contact from the clinic, or post  them out to you.

This service is for assessing the foot, and lower limb biomechanically related to foot function. We can assess whether your foot function and structure is having an impact on any other musculo skeletal problems e.g., back pain, shin, leg , knee or hip pains which keep reoccurring. It includes a detailed foot assessment followed by a walking foot scan, discussion on the use of orthotics to correct any faults, advice on foot wear and useful exercises to help.
